A full remote mirror performs a complete backup of the machine to a remote host. A complete backup of the entire data storage used will take a greater amount of space. QManager allows up to 8 Full Remote Mirror hosts. Users can select and edit the hosts by selecting them near the top of the page.

 

Host Name

Name of the host.

IP Address

IP Address of the host.

Superuser Password

Password for root access. Remote Path: The directory for the backup to go.

System Type

System type of the host. Select 'Other U/Linux system' if it U/Linux System. If it is another vendor-specified system, please choose 'Vendor System' and consult the vendor.

File Spaces

If 'Yes' is selected, please avoid repeated settings in 'Individual Directories'. Individual Directories: Any specific directories that need to be backed up can be mentioned here. Users can input up to 8 directories.

Timing

  • One Time Only: Performs a backup for one time only.

  • Daily: The machines perform a full mirror backup once a day. Weekly: The machines perform a full mirror backup weekly.

  • Monthly: The machines perform a full mirror every 1 month. When finished, click Enable to complete setup. The full mirror will start according to the time specified.

To Disable

Click Disable. To Re-Configure, you can either Disable first and then reconfigure or click Reset.
