About PureInsight

Quantea PureInsight is a statistical analysis tool designed to provide insight quickly to the user through a network connection and network topology visualization.

PureInsight has several benefits, including: 

  • Identify and pinpoint unusual traffic in the network

  • Collect data for security analysis

  • Detect peaks and valleys in the bandwidth usage

  • Analyze the performance of your network

 

PureInsight is designed to read PCAP data (an industry-standard format). The PCAP data can be obtained using an external third-party tool or one of Quantea’s high-speed QP capture solutions. 

 

PureInsight is available as an on-premise application or cloud application. The on-premise application can be installed on a QP capture solution or a third-party server. The cloud application version of PureInsight is available as a SaaS product (software as a service). 

Requirements: 

  • LibPCAP: PureInsight fully supports libpcap format PCAP files. 

  • For the date/time search to work properly, the packet timestamp from the PCAP collector needs to be consistent after transferring to the device that is running PureInsight.
