The QP Series offers a seamless plug-and-play solution, enabling immediate commencement of traffic recording post-installation.

Network Capture/Analysis Proof of Concept Environment (Basic)

• TAP Network Interface Speed/Mode:

  • 10G/100G: Enterprise use case

  • 25G (BiDi): 5G Fronthaul/Backhaul

• TAP Capabilities:

  • Monitors East/Westbound and North/Southbound traffic.

• Connection Setup:

  • NW/SB ----> TAP ------> QP500 Monitoring Port 0

  • EB/WB ----> TAP ------> QP500 Monitoring Port 1

Installation Procedures:

1. Power On QP:

   • QP500 is portable, no rack mounting is required.

2. Configure IP Address:

   • Set up IP address and routing/gateway for remote access.

3. Connect Recording Interfaces:

   • Link interfaces to TAP and verify link establishment.

4. Initiate Recording with QManager:

   • Utilize QManager to start the recording process.

5. Long-Term Recording:

   • QP500 records data from the network for 1 month or more.

6. Post-Recording Actions:

   • Run the search engine using QManager and PureInsight shortly after the recording begins.
