HTTP Reports

HTTP reports offer users the ability to download reports in various formats such as JSON, EXCEL, CSV, and PDF adding flexibility and convenience. To generate stats, simply select files in the input file box and click the update button.
General Stats
The General Stats section provides an overview of the basic statistics related to HTTP traffic. It includes metrics such as the average data, packets, and transactions per flow, the total number of HTTP flows, packets, and transactions, as well as the rates of data, flows, packets, and transactions per second. The sample time indicates the duration for which the statistics are collected, and the total HTTP data represents the cumulative size of the captured data.

The HTTP Request Stats section includes details such as the average size of request headers, the total number of HTTP requests, the rate of requests per second, and the total data size in request headers. These metrics offer insights into the characteristics of the requests made in the traffic.
HTTP Response Stats
The HTTP Response Stats section focuses on the statistics related to HTTP responses. It provides information on the average size of response bodies and headers, the number of responses with content length, the total number of HTTP responses, the rate of responses per second, and the total size of response bodies. These metrics help understand the nature and efficiency of the server responses.

HTTP Request Methods
This section presents a breakdown of HTTP request methods along with the corresponding status codes. It lists the count of each status code, such as 200 OK, 404 Not Found, etc. This information is crucial for understanding the success or failure of HTTP requests and the nature of server responses.
Content-type
The Content-type section categorizes the content types present in the HTTP traffic. It includes a list of different content types (e.g., application/json, text/html) along with their respective counts. This breakdown helps in identifying the types of content being transferred in the network.
Hostnames
The Hostnames section provides insights into the distribution of traffic among various hostnames. It includes a list of hostnames along with their counts, helping to identify the domains or servers that are actively involved in the communication. This information is valuable for understanding the network's communication patterns.
Users also have the option to enable or disable the "Filter Domain" functionality. When enabled, this filter allows users to focus on specific hostnames of interest, providing a more targeted view of the network traffic. Users can apply this filter and then download the filtered Hostnames section in JSON, Excel, CSV, or PDF format, tailoring the analysis to their specific requirements.
