While performing a remote mirror or a full mirror - the network and machine slow down. What is the best way to improve the situation?
A) Performing these services requires a heavy network load. A way to improve the performance is to use a different network interface (other than eth0) just specifically for these services. It would also be beneficial to schedule these services to run during nighttime when network traffic is usually low. Please look at the documentation for more information. Also, if these services are handled through different interfaces, users will notice less 'lag' in the network. (Refer to Data Protection)
