This feature allows users to capture and backup to a remote host on a regular daily basis. Users can specify the capture start time, and the capture duration, and set the remote host (optional).

Start Hour
Choose the time to automatically start the capture. Note, we currently do not support the minutes setting, only the hours setting is available.

Capture Duration
Capture duration can be set from 1 hour to 12 hours. Capture will stop after this duration.

Remote System Configuration (PCAP backup)
This is optional. Captured PCAP files will be moved to the remote host's user-specified directory. If this item is not set, the captured PCAPs will be saved in the local directory specified in the Capture Setting.

Port Scheduler Selection
Select the ports to capture the network traffic.
Save your setting by clicking on “Save Capture Scheduler Settings”. GUI will show a message if the settings are saved successfully. On the “Capture Progress” page, the start/stop button shows “Scheduled”.

Capture is Scheduled on the Capture Progress
After saving the capture scheduler settings, navigate to the 'Capture Progress' page where you'll notice that the capture button now says 'Scheduled' and has changed to a gray color.
