To set up capturing, go to [Capture] -> [Capture Setting]. The Capture Setup page introduces a wide range of options for the user. There are two sections: Basic Setup and Filter Settings.

1. Port Selection
Port #: Choose the port to apply the settings to.
Restart Adapter Driver: Restart the adapter driver.
2. Port # Settings
Port Label: Name of the device the port is connected to.
File Name: The file name of the capture file (recommended: .pcap extension is not required and it
will be written automatically when capturing.). You can also choose to capture the packets with
nanosecond/microsecond precision timestamp.Directory: Directory to store the captured file. Click on the Directories button to get a list of
qualified directories.
3. Physical Port Layout
This panel depicts the physical layout of the adapter and its ports. Facing the back panel, the layout should look similar to the layout shown.
4. Recently Accessed Capture Files
This panel lists the most recently accessed capture files.
